British Songstress Laura Mvula to Perform in NYC and Philadelphia

British Songstress Laura Mvula is set to perform three shows this month in celebration of her second album titled The Dreaming Room, which was released on June 16, 2016. Mvula mixes R&B, soul, jazz and even indie, folk and pop to create a sound all her own. Her music is presented with much culture and appreciation for her roots, which can be seen in her music video for “Overcome” feating Nile Rodgers. Laura Mvula will be hitting the stage as a part of AfroPunk this upcoming weekend and will later be playing a show in Brooklyn at National Sawdust.
