Common Wealth to Donate Portion of Proceeds from Recent Single to Victims of Gun Violence

New Jersey hard rockers Common Wealth recently released a new single off their upcoming debut full-length album, Never The Less. The track, which is a cover of Lynyrd Skynyrd’s “Saturday Night Special” features special guest Chris Pennie (Coheed and Cambria, Dillinger Escape Plan) on drums. With the double-bass drumming, crushing guitar tones, and powerful vocals from frontman Christian Carson, they all combined to make one badass, modernized rendition of a killer classic tune. The cover was recorded at the legendary New Jersey studio Trax East. A studio which is known for spawning albums from acts such as Hatebreed, God Forbid, and other hard-rock/metal heavyweights. The sessions for the song were engineered by Pat Noon and mixed/mastered by Ray Marte (Moon Tooth) at Westfall Recording Co. in Farmingdale, NY. To hear Common Wealth’s version of the song click here, where you can get the track exclusively before it hits iTunes, Spotify and other digital streaming/downloading services. The band will be donating a portion of the proceeds from the track to families and victims affected by gun violence, so be sure to purchase a download.
