Karnivool Teases Return After 5 Year Hiatus

Karnivool has been teasing fans through Instagram with an upcoming international tour. The Australian progressive rock band has not played any shows since 2015, with their last album Asymmetry having been released in 2013. The band posted the photo below on their Instagram handle on Monday Feb 24th, 2020 with the following message:

“To celebrate ten years of our second album, exclusively for five shows in Australia, we will play Sound Awake in its entirety. Tickets on sale Thursday at 10AEDT. Sign up at the website for a pre sale tomorrow.

We will tour internationally in 2020. News, soon”

The band’s album Sound Awake was released via Cymatic Records/Sony Music on February 16th, 2010 (in the US) and included fan favorites such as “New Day”:
