[NEW] Egrets on Ergot Release Music Video for “Sister Please”

Gothic, artsy, moody, dark, but catchy. LA based rockers Egrets on Ergot are hard to categorize, but that is just what makes them so special. Their debut Surfeit of Gemütlich, was released late October via Cleopatra Records and the tracks off the album have already recieved glowing reviews from LA based media outlets. Check out their latest video for “Sister Please” below.

“This band’s commitment to the total rockist blitzkrieg aesthetic is a noble thing to hear in this watery pop-ridden age and the now-capacity crowd let go of them with loud reluctance.” – LA Record

“the overall unsettling feeling recalls the post-punk jaggedness of God and the State and Anus the Menace, mixed with hints of Christian Death gloom and Ian Curtis phrasing.” – LAWeekly

“The experimental post-punk outfit serves up big, mean guitars, screamed vocals, and old-fashioned intensity. Along the way, they mix in jangly melodies, complex percussion, and even the occasional saxophone moment.” – LAMag.com

“What transpired on stage that evening was a bit of a phenomenon that I am frankly at a loss to effectively describe. ” – The Art of LA
