Album Review: Boundaries – “Death Is A Little More”

Metalcore outfit Boundaries out of Connecticut are releasing their upcoming album “Death Is A Little More” On March 29th. We had the chance to listen before it’s release and here are our some of our highlights from the album. Boundaries have always delivered strong, catchy, and melodic songs from their very inception, the tracks off of “Death Is A Little More” continue on this trajectory.

Notable Songs:

Track 2 – “Darkness Shared” is where the album really kicks off with a metalcore throwback sound, accompanied by some complimentary clean vocals.

Track 3 – “Like Petals From a Stem” are a perfect display of the brutality that Boundaries is capable of creating.

Track 4 – Songs like “Easily Erased” have an emo sensibility in their chorus that quickly turns dark.

Track 7 – “A Pale Light Lingers” combines hardcore with metalcore for a brutal song harmonizing both genres.

Track 10 – “Blame’s Burden” featuring Marcus Vik mixes things up by including some progressive metal vibes in with clean singing, while simultaneously keeping the metalcore spirit in the chorus.

Track 11 – Matt Honeycutt brings through more hardcore roots into the track “Blood Soaked Salvation.”
