Slayer Unleashes Hell One Final Time in New York

Hell was unleashed at Jones Beach this past weekend as Slayer took the stage in Long Island, New York for one last time. For nearly 38 years, Slayer has kept metal alive with their genre defining style. One that continues to inspire artists around the world to this day.

Early on this year they announced that this world tour would be their last. With support from Napalm Death, Testament, Anthrax and Lamb of God, it goes without saying that Slayer will be going out with a bang. Everyone who performed that night did an amazing job, with one of the strongest connections I’ve seen within a crowd in a long time. No other bands would have fit the final bill better than these guys.

Thank you for the 37 year run, Slayer!
