As It Is “The Great Depression Tour” at Revolution Music Hall

As It Is have been making noise around the rock world ever since their hit album The Great Depression, which was released on August 10th, 2018. In support of their record, the UK based pop-punk group embarked on “The Great Depression Tour,” which touched ground at Long Island’s Revolution Music Hall on February 8th.

As It Is have received acclaim for bringing contemporary topics, such as toxic masculinity into their music, something that gained them a mention on a New York Times articleAs more bands like As It Is garner fame while also fighting for inclusion, the more rock music can become a safe space for the fans who listen to and attend shows.

Joanna Viscuso, 22, of Viscuso Media. 2018 Adelphi University Graduate with a BFA in Graphic Design/ Born and raised in Seaford, New York. Founded Viscuso Media in the fall of 2016. Graphic design became the gateway to Joanna's pursuit in photography. Graphic design classes at Adelphi had a strict rule that one had to use their own photos for assignments which then lead to where she is today. After three semesters she began photography journey and then in the spring of 2017 became a local concert photographer. She started off working with a couple local bands and is now one of the main photographers in the local music scene. Since then she has branched out into event photography, pet photography, professional head shots, portraits and product photography as of 2019.
